Honorable Andre Borrello
Judge Borrello was elected to the 10th Circuit Court in 2016. Judge Borrello handles both criminal and civil cases for the Saginaw County Circuit Court and also presides over the Saginaw County Recovery Court with Judge Gafkay.
Prior to taking the bench, Judge Borrello served as City Attorney for the City of Saginaw at the law firm Gilbert, Smith, & Borrello. He also served as the Interim Deputy City Manager, Director of Public Utilities, and as the Saginaw County Civil Counsel. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law.
Civil Procedures
All filings must be submitted to the County Clerk’s office along with payment. They may be submitted in person, via mail, or via email at circuitcourtrecordsfiling@ai183club.com. Please include both the Judicial Assistant and the Law Clerk on any emails that may be sent to our office.
All civil hearings are held via zoom. Please include the zoom ID on all notice of hearings. The court only hears three civil motions a week, with only one of those being Motion’s for Summary Disposition. Counsel may contact the County Clerk’s office for the next available hearing date at 989-790-5540.

Criminal Procedures
All Pre-Trial Conferences must be held and Summary Forms must be submitted to Tremayne Champion (tchampion@ai183club.com) by the due date on the Criminal Scheduling Order. Plea forms must be turned into the court the Friday BEFORE the plea date. All rules stated in the scheduling order must be followed.
Pre-Trials are held in the Judge’s chambers, off the record, with counsel only. Defendant’s in custody will not appear in court on that date and time unless a plea has been reached or something must be put on the record.
